Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy lashed out at former minister and BRS working president KT Rama Rao accusing him of trying to claim credit for the efforts of the new government to resolve pending infrastructure projects in Hyderabad.
The two sides have been indulging in a battle of one-upmanship over such projects and the chief minister in his acerbic style invited Rao to take up fast unto death to get funds for Hyderabad.
After laying the foundation stone for Rajiv Rahadari elevated corridor in Secunderabad Reddy said the project had been pending for years after the previous government and the Centre locked horns on some issues. The previous government delayed allocation of land and renewal of lease of defence land at Chandrayangutta.
The chief minister then claimed his government found a solution soon after coming to power. He wondered if any permanent development had been done in Hyderabad during the BRS rule and claimed it was all done by the earlier Congress governments.
