With just about an odd one hour plus to go for “9 pm for 9 minutes” as exhorted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the people of India have stood up as one, together to join one another in lighting candles and diyas on Sunday at 9 pm for nine minutes to dispel the darkness and gloom brought by the outbreak of the deadly novel Coronavirus.
At 9 pm, India will turn off its lights at for 9 minutes and light up candles and diyas as appealed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to chase away darkness and gloom brought by the outbreak of the deadly novel Coronavirus.
PM Modi, on Sunday, once again took to Twitter to remind the nation about 9 minutes at 9 pm to switch off lights and turn on diyas, candles or mobile phone flashlights as a gesture of solidarity of the citizens towards the fight against Coronavirus.
