Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) has bagged three prestigious National Public Bus Transport Excellence Awards of the Association of State Road Transport Undertakings (ASRTU).
The awards were conferred by Union Ministry of Road Transportation and Highways Secretary, Anurag Jain to HRTC Managing Director Rohan Chand Thakur at New Delhi on Friday.
Thakur said that HRTC bagged first prize in the category of tyre performance and runner up in vehicle utilization and employee productivity.
“We expect HRTC can do better since it has made many interventions in Information Technology and digital transactions,” said Thakur.
The HRTC MD was also unanimously made the chairperson of the Standing Committee for Asset Management and Non-ticket Revenue.
