Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate more than 14,000 projects worth more than Rs 10 lakh crore across Uttar Pradesh through the Ground Breaking Ceremony (GBC 4.0) in the capital Lucknow on Monday.
The projects will pave the way of making Uttar Pradesh a one trillion dollar economy, the target fixed by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Along with this, possibilities of about 34 lakh employment opportunities will also be opened up in the state.
Prime Minister Modi will also visit the exhibition organised here along with CM Adityanath. He will also address the people of the state in the main GBC hangar and extend best wishes for the commencement of these projects.
The Global Investors Summit was organised on February 10-12 last year. About a year later, Ground Breaking Ceremony 4.0 is being organised on February 19-21, which will see the participation of many VIPs including PM Modi.
After the consecration of Lord Shri Ram Lala temple in Ayodhya on January 22, this is another big opportunity for the Yogi government, when the eyes of the whole world will be on Uttar Pradesh.
On the occasion of the inauguration of the event, PM Modi will give information about the achievements of the government and will also tell the success mantras to the investors. The Chief Minister will also present his views regarding the suitable environment for industries in Uttar Pradesh as well as future plans.
UP Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Nandi will welcome the Prime Minister, while Hinduja Group Chairman Dheeraj Hinduja, Samsung South West Asia CEO JP Park, INGKA CEO Susan Pulverer, Torrent Group MD Jinal Mehta and Adverb Technologies Chairman Jalaj Mehta would be present.
Defence Minister and Lucknow MP Rajnath Singh will also present his views here, after which PM Modi will launch the projects through digital ground breaking. On the occasion, a short film based on the achievements of the state government will also be shown.
All preparations for the event have been completed. Two days ago, CM Adityanath had taken stock of the preparations and given necessary guidelines. Around 4,000 participants from across the world are expected to participate in the event, which includes renowned industrialists, Fortune Global/India 500 companies, foreign investor partners and Ambassadors/High Commissioners among others.
A total of 10 different pavilions have been set up at the exhibition site, which include AI Pavilion, Textile, Data Centre/Electronics & IT, Warehouse & Logistics, Film City, Invest UP/Top Investors, Medical Devices, EV & Renewable Energy and Defence/Aerospace. For the event, German hangars have been built using steel shipping containers as their base. Also, 3D replica models of all the defense equipment including Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple will be displayed here.
Along with this, the first glimpse of the film city which is going to be built in the Yeida area, will also be shown here. Along with the inauguration of GBC on February 19, a grand exhibition will also be organised in which more than nine special sectors will be showcased.
A three-day exhibition will be organised in an area of 1250 square meters. These include AI Pavilion, Textile, Logistics and Warehousing, Defense and Aerospace, Data Centre/Electronics and IT, EV and Renewable Energy, Film City, Medical Equipments and ODOP. Sectoral sessions will also be organised in which the current status and future outline of Uttar Pradesh in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) will be shown.
