Four years of Modi govt: Rahul Gandhi releases report card

As Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led BJP government completed four years, Congress President Rahul Gandhi released a report card purportedly in connection with the performance of the NDA government over the last four years.

The report card, shared on Rahul Gandhi’s official Twitter handle, includes subjects like Agriculture, Foreign Policy, Fuel Prices, Job Creation, in all of which the government has been given F grade. Other than this, according to Rahul Gandhi, the government has achieved A+ in slogan creation and self promotion.

Earlier on Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had listed its achievements, saying that over the last four years, development had become a “vibrant mass movement” on the fourth anniversary of his government.

“On this day in 2014, we began our journey of working towards India’s transformation,” he tweeted.

“Over the last four years, development had become a vibrant mass movement, with every citizen feeling involved in India’s growth trajectory. 125 crore Indians are taking India to great heights,” he said.

The prime minister also posted a series of charts, graphics and video to highlight the achievements of his government.

“I bow to my fellow citizens for their unwavering faith in our government. This support and affection is the biggest source of motivation and strength for the entire government,” he tweeted.

The prime minister stressed that his government would continue to serve the people “with the same vigour and dedication”.

“For us, it is always India First,” he wrote.
