Former Rajasthan legislator Amrita Meghwal has received a life-threatening call.
According to the police, an unknown caller warned her that she would be killed.
“I will kill you like Baba Siddique,” the caller threatened.
The caller also sent vulgar messages to the ex-MLA via WhatsApp, threatening her with rape.
An FIR has been lodged at the cyber security police station here on behalf of Meghwal. This is not the first time that Amrita has received threat calls.
Rajasthan Minister of State (MoS) Jawahar Singh Bedham has also written to Jaipur Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph, urging him to take necessary action.
Amrita Meghwal was elected as a member of the Rajasthan Assembly on a BJP ticket in 2013 from Jalore.
