New Delhi: After an exhilarating two months of elections in five states including Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Uttrakhand, Goa and Manipur, everyone is now waiting with baited breath for the Election Results 2017 to be announced tomorrow (March 11). While the counting will begin as early as 8 am tomorrow, the picture for each of these five states will be clearer by around noon as the early trends will start pouring in by that time.
Tomorrow's Election Results 2017 will have long term implications on the general elections in 2019. If, as predicted by a slew of Exit Polls, BJP is set to sweep at least three out of the five states with UP being the most important of them all, it will set the ball rolling for the BJP to make a comeback to Centre in 2019.
The yet to be announced UP Election Results 2017 hold the future for biggies such as SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav who recently emerged stronger after a much fought internal battle with his uncle and father Mulayam Singh Yadav, one of the tallest leaders in the UP Political arena besides BSP supremo Mayawati .
Perhaps the second most awaited Punjab Election Results 2017 are that of Punjab, where there is a triangular contest between the ruling BJP-SAD, Congress and the first time entrant AAP. Exit polls are divided over the Election Results in the state with some predicting a hung assembly while others predicting a neck to neck competition between Congress and AAP.
While AAP is yet to declare its chief ministerial candidate, Congress has already announced Capt Amarinder Singh as the chief ministerial candidate.
