DRDO recruitment 2019: Defence Research & Development Organisation will end the online application process for the recruitment of Scientist and Executive Engineer soon. All the interested candidates should apply online on the official website-rac.gov.in
The candidates should note that their selection will be done on the basis of the GATE scores and/or Descriptive Examination. The selected candidates will then be required to appear in the personal interview to be held in Delhi.
The total number of vacant posts is 290.
Scientist ‘B’ in DRDO: 270 posts
• Scientist ‘B’ in DST: 6 posts
• Scientist/Engineer ‘B’: 10 posts
• Executive Engineer: 4 posts
Date to remember:
• Last date to apply online: August 30, 2019
Application fee:
• Interested candidates will have to pay application fee of Rs 100.
• SC/ST/PwD and women candidates do not have to pay application fee.
Age limit:
• Interested candidates should check the official notification for age limit, since they differ for every post.
• However, reserved category candidates will get age relaxation according to government norms.
Selection Procedure:
• The selection of the candidates will be done on either GATE scores or Descriptive Examination.
• The descriptive type exam will consist of two papers of 300 marks each, to be conducted in two sessions of duration of three hours each.
• The candidates should note that the descriptive examination is likely to be held on October 2019.
