Days after signing MoU with Army, Patanjali calls on retired soldiers to send their job applications


Patanjali, and the Indian Army have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to employ retired soldiers in service activities.

Acting swiftly on the MoU, Patanjali, a leading Indian conglomerate, has called for applications of retired Army soldiers for various posts.

The company has asked them to send in their bio data on esm.initiative@patanjaliayurved.org with their full name, address and total years of experience in the military.

In a press release, Patanjali said that it has a strong commitment to social responsibility, and this MoU is a further demonstration of that commitment.

Under the MoU, Patanjali will provide employment opportunities to retired soldiers in a variety of areas, including, Yoga and meditation instruction, Ayurveda therapy, sales and marketing, logistics and security.

Patanjali will give priority to retired soldiers who have the necessary skills and experience. The company will also provide training and support to help retired soldiers transition to civilian life.

Acharya Balkrishna, the general secretary of Patanjali Yogpeeth, said that the company is committed to helping retired soldiers find meaningful employment opportunities.

He said that Patanjali is confident that retired soldiers will be valuable assets to the company.
