The commitment of CRPF during the ongoing Shri Amarnath Ji yatra is visibly unprecedented. On the one hand, CRPF is providing security on yatra routes, yatri camps and other important places associated to the pilgrimage, on the other hand, its troops are committed to the help and assistance of the yatris.
Besides the help centre ‘Madadgaar’ established at Jammu Tawi Railway Station, the CRPF has established information centres and RFID tagging centres at many other places.
For the service and security of yatris, the mobile van of CRPF, viz. ‘Sachal Sahayta Kendra’, is reaching out to yatris at their lodgings. As is evident from its name, the van is providing yatris with information related to security, safety, alertness, medical, registration, RFID tagging centre and other information relevant to Yatra.
This van is going to various lodging centres available to Shri Amarnath Ji Yatris and is providing help to them. In this team, trained doctors of CRPF along with other personnel are serving the Yatris. First aid is also being provided to Yatris by trained staff available in the van. In case of any medical contingency, this vehicle also arranges to take Yatris to the nearest hospital.
