Haryana health and family welfare minister Anil Vij said on Thursday that if any guidelines related to Covid come from the Central government, it will be completely implemented.
Speaking to reporters, the minister said the state government is completely prepared to face any situation by taking experience from the past Covid waves.
He said the major issue with the previous Covid wave was testing, but now RT PCR machines have been installed in every district of the state. Now we are completely prepared for Covid testing, Vij said.
“We have an adequate number of ventilators, earlier there was a big problem of oxygen shortage but now we have installed PSA plants in all the hospitals with the capacity of 50 beds and now there is no shortage of oxygen,” the minister said. Similarly, sufficient stock of medicines is also available and we are prepared in all respects, he added.
In an appeal to the state’s citizens, Vij said there is no need to panic, but everyone should take the Covid preventive measures, such as applying masks, sanitising, are necessary for everyone and everyone should follow them.
