A young girl of a local Congress leader, Gopal Kesawat, was allegedly kidnapped when she went to buy vegetables in Pratapnagar area of Pink City on Monday evening.
Twenty-one year Abhilasha Kesawat, studying in Delhi, made an emergency call to her parents that she was chased by some miscreant boys while she was in the Sabji Mandi, SHO of Pratapnagar Police Station Bhajanlal told SNS here.
After one call, her mobile phone was turned off, and her scooty was found by her father early morning near NRI circle in Pratapnagar, SHO said.
An FIR was registered on the missing and suspected abduction complain of the Congress leader, who was once a member on the Ghumantu Board during Ashok Gehlot’s second term as Chief Minister.
A special team of Jaipur DCP-East Commissioner is looking out for the missing girl, and interrogated his relatives, and neighborhood families, but as of this evening no clue is traced, SHO said.
