CM Yogi participates in 1008 Kundiya Hanuman Mahayagya in Ayodhya


Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met Tulsi Peethadheeshwar Jagadguru Shri Ramabhadracharya, and also participated in the 1008 Kundiya Hanuman Mahayagya during his visit to Ayodhya on Friday.

The Chief Minister attended the Amrit Mahotsav organised near Kashi Ram Colony in Ayodhya to celebrate the 75th birthday of Padma Shree Shri Ramabhadracharya. The event began on January 14 and will continue till January 22.

He also participated in the 1008 Kundiya Hanuman Mahayagya taking place at the event venue, where he offered prayers for the prosperity, health, and well-being of Uttar Pradesh .

Upon his arrival in Ayodhya, the Chief Minister paid a visit to Jagadguru Shri Ramabhadracharya. He extended his respects by offering Jagadguru an ‘ang vastra’ and enquired about his well-being.

The Chief Minister greeted the devotees and attendees present at the event venue who were taking photos and videos on their mobiles, eager to catch his glimpse.

Upon his arrival at the Amrit Mahotsav, Adityanath was given a grand welcome. Seated in a vintage car, he reached inside the Katha Sthal. Several dignitaries were present including Shri Ramabhadracharya’s successor Ramchandra Das, State Government Ministers Surya Pratap Shahi, Jaiveer Singh, and MLA Dr Amit Singh Chauhan, among others.

The Chief Minister also visited the Ram temple where he took stock of the preparations for the consecration ceremony on January 22. Later, he participated in the religious ceremony and inspected the entire temple premises. He took information about the arrangements from Vishva Hindu Parishad patron Dinesh and issued instructions to local administration and police officials to maintain proper arrangements.
