Chhattisgarh development crucial to realise a developed India: CM Sai

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that the development of Chhattisgarh is crucial to make India a developed nation.

Speaking at the ‘Viksit Bharat, Viksit Chhattisgarh’ program in the Ambagarh Chowki district on Thursday, the chief minister said the state government is working tirelessly for the social and economic development of Chhattisgarh in consonance with Modi’s Guarantee.

He said his government would fulfil every promise made to the people of Chhattisgarh under Modi’s Guarantee. The state government is making efforts to develop the newly-formed five districts, including Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki, as there is no dearth of resources.

On the occasion, CM Sai announced various development works, including the approval for the construction of a fully-equipped community hall in Mohla worth Rs. 50 lakh, an interstate bus stand in Manpur, beautification of ponds, opening a branch of the District Cooperative Central Bank in Gotatola, upgrading Mohla-Manpur College to PG College, and construction of roads from Chhuriya Mandir to Sheetla Mandir.

He inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 115 development projects, worth Rs. 46.83 crore, and distributed departmental kits and cheques worth Rs. 18.1 lakh to 128 beneficiaries under various schemes.

Chief Minister Sai also virtually interacted with the sarpanch of Keakatola, Gaulitola, and Kunjamtola gram panchayats, which are among the 144 gram panchayats connected under the BharatNet scheme in the aspirational district.

The chief minister, while addressing the program, stated that the people of the country have shown trust in the guarantee of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Chhattisgarh government has completed its three-month tenure, and within 90 days, it has taken significant decisions for the welfare of the people of the state.
