BJP seeks action against govt employees who marched to Raj Bhavan

The Kerala unit of the BJP on Sunday alleged that  a large number  of government employees participated in the protest march to Raj Bhavan by violating service rules and sought action against them

Addressing a press meet here on Sunday , BJP leader V V Rajesh said that thousands of government employees participated in  the LDF’s protest march to Raj Bhavan after recording their biometric attendance in office.

Rajesh  also released visuals of the protest march to prove his allegations.

He said that government officials were brought to Raj Bhavan from the Secretariat twice in three private buses.

The government employees had gathered at Panakkad memorial hall in Nandavanam and Theertha auditorium in Kudappanakunnu for the preparations ahead of  the Raj Bhavan march, he said

Rajesh said  the BJP has filed a complaint with the Chief Secretary seeking action against the employees, who  participated in the Raj Bhavan march against the Governor, violating service rules  . If the Chief Secretary didn’t take any action against these employees,the BJP  will find another way,” Rajesh added

 The CPI-M led LDF has on 15 November  staged  a  Raj Bhavan march in protest against Governor Arif Mohammed Kan’s ‘s recent interventions in the functioning of universities in the state.
