Targeting the Congress government in Rajasthan accusing it of four years of all-round failure, BJP’s state in-charge and general secretary Arun Singh alleged that the industries were not being set up due to the fear of ‘Jungle Raj’ of the Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot regime, and youths were not getting jobs anywhere.
“The youth and the farmers are very angry with the Gehlot Government. Both the sections are so angry that they will uproot the Congress in such a way that it will not even think of coming to power for the next 20 years, ” Singh told a press conference here while referring to the successful Jan Aakrosh rath yatra and meetings in all 200 assembly constituencies.
“There is fierce anger among the people towards the government. In the Janakrosh Yatra, people have fiercely complained against the government. We have filled these complaints in the complaint boxes, these complaint boxes will be sent to the Chief Minister. If these complaints are not resolved, there will be such a huge demonstration and meeting in the capital Jaipur that the Chief Minister will have to leave the chair the next day”, he warned.
Singh said, “People are not getting justice under Gehlot’s rule. Gehlot cannot give justice because he has kept good officers sitting on the sidelines and has given prime postings to corrupt officers. There is a flaw in the intention of the head of the Congress government and the ministers. There is dishonesty in intention, justice is far away.”
Explaining the ‘jungle raj’, he said, “It can be guessed from the fact that competitive examination papers have been leaked 16 times in the 4 years of rule. People associated with the paper leak gang are roaming free. If strict action would have been taken against the accused of taking papers before now, then the dreams of lakhs of candidates would not have been shattered.”\
According to him, Jan Aakrosh Yatra has become a people’s yatra. Covering one lakh 15 thousand kilometers, the yatra has created history in the country. This is the first such journey which has come such a long way, overwhelmed by the yatra, he jibed at the Gehlot government, saying, “Janaakrosh Yatra will become the main reason for the departure of the Gehlot government”.
