Air Marshal RD Mathur visits 11 Wing, AFS Tezpur

Air Marshal RD Mathur, Air Officer Commanding- in- Chief, Eastern Air Command, visited the Air Force Station Tezpur on Tuesday. The Air Marshal was received by Air Commodore Tejpal Singh VM, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Tezpur.

He met all the key appointments at the station on his arrival. Air Marshal Mathur is a three-star officer with more than 5000 hours of fighter flying to his credit. He was presented with a guard of honour.

Later in the day, the Air Marshal visited various units at the station and was briefed on their operational readiness. He had interacted with all the personnel of the station and appreciated their performance and advised them to be physically fit and mentally alert at all times.

Before his departure for Shillong, the Air Marshal expressed his satisfaction with the operational readiness of the base. He appreciated the performance of the air warriors towards the maintenance and utilization of assets and other infrastructure.

The Air Marshal was accompanied by Shipra Mathur, President AFWWA (R), who was received by Seema Singh, President, AFWWA (L). Shipra Mathur visited the A School and AFWWA ventures and interacted with the staff and appreciated their work.
