After hard campaigning in UP, PM Modi embarks on 2-day Gujarat visit

After vigorously campaigning in Uttar Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set for a two-day visit in his home state Gujarat starting Tuesday.

During his visit, the prime minister will be attending programmes scheduled across Surat, Bharuch, Gandhinagar and Somnath.

Addressing a public meeting upon his arrival in Surat, PM Modi will also visit ONGC plant at Dahej and inagurate the cable bridge constructed on Narmada river to ease the traffic on Ahmedabad-Mumbai National Highway.

Modi will also address a public gathering in Bharuch and lay a foundation stone for a bus port in the town.

The prime minister is also likely to attend a dinner hosted by the state Chief Minister Vijay Rupani at the Chief Ministerial Bungalow in Gandhinagar.

This is Modi’s 10th Gujarat visit ever since he became the prime minister in May 2014.
