Cancelling its earlier order on Aadhar card being mandatory for the mid-day meal benefits, the government on Tuesday said no one will be deprived of the benefits.
In a bid to bring transparency in the system, the government asked the departments to provide Aadhar enrollment facilities to their beneficiaries under Regulation 12 of Aadhaar (Enrolment and Update) Regulations 2016.
