‘Vocal for Local, Local to Global’ theme of this year’s Trade Fair

The theme of the ongoing 41st India International Trade Fair (IITF) at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi is ‘Vocal for Local, Local to Global. The theme is proving so attractive for young entrepreneurs that they are coming to the fair in large numbers on the stipulated Business Days to gather information to start their businesses.

Surprisingly, there is a large number of women entrepreneurs among those women who are reaching here with the dreams of setting up their businesses. The pavilions here being spacious the traders are not facing any difficulty in understanding and explaining their business models to the youth who are come to understand their businesses.

On the very first day, the exhibitors said that they are very happy to see that the sales are going on expected lines in their business.

Union Minister for MSME Srinarayan Rane, Minister of State Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma, KVIC President Manoj Kumar, and MSME Secretary B B Swain visited the trade fair. Speaking on the occasion, Manoj Kumar said that New India’s new Khadi products displayed in the Khadi India Pavilion are a symbol of India’s progress towards indigenous and self-reliance under the visionary leadership of the Prime Minister.

Khadi’s selfie point became the center of attraction. A selfie point has been made in the theme pavilion of Khadi Mandap by placing a statue of Mahatma Gandhi and a cutout of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

This selfie point is attracting a lot of visitors.

It also depicts the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the form of five pillars of self-reliant India.
