Veteran Bollywood actor Satish Kaushik’s untimely demise is followed by a wave of grief among his fans, family, and the entire film industry. While the entire country is mourning his demise, the icon’s inconsolable niece, Anita Sharma, wished she could do something to bring back life to him.

The legendary actor breathed his last on Thursday at the age of 66 after reportedly suffering a heart attack.

Speaking to the news agency ANI, Sharma said, “Wish I could do something to breathe back life into him. He was still young. He has an elder sister and a brother. How will they survive without him? He made a place for himself in the hearts of people in real life. God takes away good people early.”

After Anupam Kher, a close friend of Satish shared the news of the passing of the actor on social media on Thursday morning, bollywood celebrities from across India started sending their condolence messages sharing their fond memories with the late actor.

Meanwhile, the Delhi Police is carrying out routine proceedings under the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) Section 174 (police to enquire and report on suicide, etc.) to determine the exact cause of the actor’s death.

“The aim is to ascertain if the demise occurred under mysterious circumstances or if the person died of unnatural causes,” said the Delhi Police.

The news of Kaushik’s passing devastated his fans and left the Indian film industry in a shock. He was a multifaceted artist who made a lasting impact on Indian cinema. With his passing, the industry has lost a true legend.

Satish made an unrivaled contribution to the film industry. Apart from being an excellent actor, he was a gifted writer, director, and producer.

Earlier, Satish attended a Holi bash organised by Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhtar in Mumbai. His photos and videos at the party were doing the rounds on the internet.

Satish Kaushik had come to Delhi on Wednesday to attend a close friend’s Holi party when he reportedly fell sick.

The mortal remains of the actor will be sent to Mumbai for his last rites in an air ambulance which will carry his body from Delhi’s Deen Dayal Hospital where he had been brought for a postmortem.
