Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s Tiger Zinda Hai has not only emerged as the biggest blockbuster of 2017 but the film has also kick-started 2018 with a bang as the film collected Rs.18.04 crore on Monday (January 1, 2018).
The film, which was released on December 22, 2018, is still continuing its dream run in 2018 and is inching towards Rs.300-crore mark. After it’s 10 days run at the box office the film has minted over Rs.272.79 crore at the box-office.
Tiger Zinda Hai has broken numerous records and set a new standard for Bollywood films and currently ranks among the highest grossing films of India and the highest grossing Bollywood film of 2017 (after Baahubali 2)
Apparently, the film has become another milestone for the actors to achieve as TZH has become Salman’s 12th consecutive film to enter the Rs.100-crore club and third film to gross more than Rs.200 crore in the domestic market.
With no major release till 26th January, the film could further extend its dream run at the box office.
With the steady and strong performance the film has been showing that it’s only a matter of time for Salman’s latest to rank among the select films to earn more than Rs.300 crore.
Despite receiving mixed to positive reviews, the film has turned out to be a massive commercial success both in India and overseas.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film was released in 4,600 screens worldwide on December 22, 2017.
