Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 2 is on a record-breaking spree and is emerging as one of the most grossing action films at the box office.
Baaghi 2 opened to a polarising response from the critics, but that didn’t stop the cinegoers from filling the seats in multiplexes and single screens.
The action/adventure film has now the second best opening weekend collections after Padmaavat.
As per Taran Adarsh, Baaghi 2 collected Rs 27.60-crore at the box office, a figure higher than the collections of both Friday and Saturday, thus taking the first weekend collections to Rs 73.10-crore.

In a career spanning almost four years in the industry, Tiger has not seen as big an opening as he did for Baaghi 2, which has surpassed the collections of many 2018 films already.
Apparently, Baaghi 2 is just a few steps away from crossing the collections of Akshay Kumar’s Pad Man.
Baaghi 2 is all set to enjoy a long solo run at the box office as there is no major release scheduled for the next two weeks, which means Baaghi 2 has a good chance of scoring big time at the box office and solidify its place as one of the highest grossing films ever.
The film is already the fifth highest grossing film of 2018 and the biggest opener of 2018.
Apparently, Baaghi 2 is the seventh highest grossing action film of all time and is all set to become Tiger’s highest grossing film till date.
Directed by Ahmed Khan. Baaghi 2 also stars Disha Patani, Manoj Bajpayee, Randeep Hooda, Prateik Babbar and Deepak Dobriyal and was released worldwide on March 30.
