Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 2 has successfully passed the crucial first-Monday test as the film earned more than Rs 12 crore at the box office.

Baaghi 2 has commenced its first week at the box office on a splendid note as it is one of the few films of Bollywood to score a double digit figure on the first Monday.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the film’s business on Monday on his Instagram account. Baaghi 2 earned Rs 12.10-crore on April 2 thus taking the total collections of the film to Rs 85.20-crore.

Baaghi 2 has opened to a great  response from the fans and has emerged as one of the best films of the first quarter of 2018.

Tiger’s sequel to the 2016 hit film is already the biggest opener of 2018 by minting over Rs 25-crore on the first day breaking the previous record held by Padmaavat.

Not only is the film performing extraordinary well in India, but also across the globe, the film is having a decent run as it has crossed the Rs 100-crore mark worldwide.

It’s only a matter of time when the film enters the Rs 100-crore club in India and become the third film of the year so far to do after Padmaavat and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.

Tiger’s high-voltage action drama has already surpassed the lifetime collections of many Bollywood biggies like Pad Man, Aiyaary, Pari and Hate Story 4 within just four days of its release.

Directed by Ahmed Khan, Baaghi 2, also starring Disha Patani, Manoj Bajpayee, Randeep Hooda, Prateik Babbar and Deepak Dobriyal, released worldwide on March 30.
