Telugu film, ABCD starring Allu Sirish trailer out

Trailer of the much awaited Telugu film ABCD – American Born Confused Desi is out. Starring Allu Sirish, Rukshar Dhillon and Nagendra Babu in the lead, the film is an official remake of the hit Malayalam comedy with the same name.

The ABCD trailer is action packed, with the right dose of comedy, romance, drama and some seriously well written dialogue. Allu plays an American born Indian who has returned to India and enrolls in a college. He experiences everything first hand — from politics, water problem, college life and drama.

The trailer leaves you wanting for more.

The original ABCD, starred Dulquer Salmaan, Jacob Gregory, Aparna Gopinath and Tovino Thomas in the lead roles. Helmed by Martin Prakkat, the film was a super hit and grossed a profit of over Rs 8 crore at the box office.

On the remake of the film, Allu Sirish had shared: “So my next film is #ABCD (American Born Confused Desi), a Malayalam remake. Directed by debutante Sanjeev Reddy & produced by @madhurasreedhar. Other details soon!”

The Telugu version is also Sanjeev Reddy’s directorial debut. Rukshar Dhillon plays the female lead and love interest to Sirish.

Allu Sirish made his debut as a child artiste in 1990 with the film, Pratbandh. His Telugu films Kotha Janta and Srirastu Subhamastu were his biggest hits.

He is also Chiranjeevi’s nephew and Allu Arjun’s younger brother.

 

The film is slated to release on 17th May 2019.
