Actor David Schwimmer and his wife Zoe Buckman have announced that they want 'some time apart' following seven years of marriage.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the Friends star and Buckman said they will spend a period of time trying to "determine the future" of their relationship, reports mirror.co.uk.
The couple, who have been together for 10 years, said that during this time their family is still their main priority — stating their full attention will be on the happiness of their five-year-old daughter Cleo.
The joint statement read: "It is with great love, respect and friendship that we have decided to take some time apart while we determine the future of our relationship.
"Our priority is, of course, our daughter's happiness and well being during this challenging time, and so we ask for your support and respect for our privacy as we continue to raise her together and navigate this new chapter for our family."
Buckman — a British artist and photographer — first met Schwimmer when he was working on romantic comedy Run (2007).
She then relocated to Los Angeles with Schwimmer, and they tied the knot in 2010. In May 2011, the pair welcomed their only child Cleo.
