Sushant Singh Rajput, who like many others made his acting debut on television on an Ekta Kapoor show on television, has said he will work with the producer again on any platform. The Kedarnath actor debuted on TV opposite Ankita Lokhande on soap-drama Pavitra Rishta.

He made the remark during an interaction with the media in Mumbai where he launched Natasha Malpani Oswal’s book Boundless along with Kapoor.

When he was asked if he would like to work on TV again with Ekta, Sushant said, “Why only on television? I am ready to work with her on any platform. Apart from my family, if there is one person who has been instrumental in my career, it is Ekta (Kapoor) madam. So, if she tells me do anything, I will follow her.”

Sushant is not the first person who expresses gratitude for the Balaji Telefilms producer who has helped launch many careers.

The actor who recently finished the shoot of Nitesh Tiwari’s Chhichhore, in which he stars alongside Shraddha Kapoor, shared, “We have completed shooting of the film and now it will release soon. I feel very excited during the shooting of every film of mine. Now, we will do the film’s dubbing.”

He made his film debut with Kai Po Che, which went on to do good business and brought new roles for Sushant who is now considered a seasoned actor.

“When our film is about to release, there is always an excitement about people’s reaction to it. If people resonate with the film, that gives us immense satisfaction. Once the audience appreciates your work, it motivates you to do a lot better with your future projects. So, it’s a process which I really enjoy.”

The actor will next be seen in Dil Bechara alongside Saif Ali Khan and in Drive with Jacqueline Fernandez. He is a fan of the veteran actor and appreciated the opportunity of working with him after having worked with his daughter, Sara Ali Khan, in her debut film, Kedarnath.

Sushant and Jacqueline’s film, Drive was supposed to hit theaters last year in March but was pushed for some reason to September and now to this year on 28th June.

Explaining the delay the actor said,”There is a lot of visual effects work involved in the film and it is very recent technology in our country. Therefore, it is taking time. Once we are done with the VFX work, it will release on its scheduled date. I am very excited for that film because it has a really interesting story and Tarun Mansukhani is also returning to direction after a long gap.”
