Super 30 has done decent business at the box office on its first day. The Hrithik Roshan starrer released on Friday.

Super 30 is based on the life of Patna-based mathematician Anand Kumar, who teaches underprivileged children for free so that they can crack the IIT entrance exam.

After Hrithik received immense appreciation from the film industry, his fans and audiences have become even more eager to watch Vikas Bahl’s directorial.

The film did far better business in metropolitans as compared to mass pockets. Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the film’s business on social media.

According to Box Office India, the film earned around Rs. 11-11.50 crore nett as per early estimates. The film has opened better than Ajay Devgn’s Raid and Akshay Kumar’s Padman both of which were small films.

Taran Adarsh announced that Super 30 might pick up business in the opening weekend and the coming week.

He also wrote: “#Super30 has a decent Day 1… Biz picked up at metros/urban centres [Mumbai and South specifically] towards evening… Mass pockets are ordinary/dull… Should witness growth on Day 2 and 3… Sustaining and proving its mettle on weekdays crucial… Fri ₹ 11.83 cr. India biz.”

Super 30 is competing at the box office with Kabir Singh, which refuses to slow down and has earned a total of Rs. 252.14 crores. Despite that, the recent release will make a dent in the business of the Shahid Kapoor starrer in the coming weeks.
