Directed by Luv Ranjan, Sonu Ke Titu ki Sweety has finally stepped into the Rs 100 cr club and bagged the second position after Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Padmaavat. The film with an ensemble star cast involving Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bharucha, and Sunny Sing has managed to acquire the position with their comical tale.

The film is among the top five movies in 2018 according to their opening day earnings.
SKTKS faced a setback when Ajay Devgan starrer Raid surpassed it to grab the third position in the list of the highest opening day grosser of 2018.
The story of the film revolves around Titu played Sunny who breaks up with his girlfriend (Nushrat Bharucha) after his friend Sonu’s (Kartik Aaryan) suggestion. However, he gets engaged to her and Sonu tries to convince him until the end to call off the wedding.
Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety is Luv Ranjan’s fourth film with actor Kartik Aaryan and Nushrat Bharucha.
