Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety has completed its first week at the box office and the film has done a commendable business on working days.
Luv Ranjan’s war of bromance vs romance opened to positive reviews and has become the third biggest film of 2018 after Padmaavat and Pad Man.
SKTKS is now eying for the Rs 50-crore mark at the box office.
Considering the fact this is an extended weekend with Holi, the film might cross the half century mark and perform even better on Saturday and Sunday.
According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, SKTKS earned Rs 4.86-crore on Thursday taking the total collections of the film to Rs 45.94-crore.
Luv Ranjan’s film has indeed emerged as a winner at the box office with solid week 1 collections and now it’ll be interesting to see how the film fares in the second weekend and proceeds to second week.
Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety is a game changer as the film has surpassed the lifetime collections of many big time releases like Aiyaary and Kaalakaandi.
Directed by Luv Ranjan, SKTKS, featuring Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Singh was released worldwide on February 23.
