On the eve of Amitabh Bachchan’s 77th birthday, Shweta Nanda Bachchan, his daughter shared a picture from her childhood.
In the picture, Bachchan is seen holding baby Shewta in his arms. She captioned the image, “Home is not a place, it is a person.”
Shweta is very fond of the megastar and keeps posting pictures of him on social media and expressing love for her father.
Amitabh Bachchan began his career in the 70’s, first as a narrator in Mrinal Sen’s National Award-winning film Bhuvan Shome (1969).
His first acting role came with Khwaja Ahmad Abbas’ directorial Saat Hindustani, but it was, in fact, Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s Anand(1971) that earned him fame and a Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor.
Bachchan has appeared in over 190 Indian films in a career spanning almost five decades. The count is still on with Shootjit Sircar’s Gulabo Sitabo alongside Ayushmann Khurrana.
