Aamir Khan’s Secret Superstar is on a phenomenal run at the box office in China and is destroying all records, as the film had an exceptional first week there.

According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film has collected a massive amount of Rs 293.14 crore at the box office in China.

Aamir’s last year Diwali offering, which did a decent business in India, has shattered all records by becoming the fastest Hindi film to gross the Rs 100, Rs.200 and Rs.300 crore mark.
The actor’s huge fan base in China is another reason why the film is doing a commendable business.
With the kind of pace the film is going on at the China Box Office, it won’t be much of a surprise if it dethrones Dangal (another Aamir film) as the highest grossing film in China.
Secret Superstar narrates the journey of a young talented singer (Zaira Wasim), who becomes very popular after releasing her first song on Youtube under the alias of ‘Secret Superstar’. It features Aamir as a successful and arrogant music director, Shakti Kumarr.
Directed by Advait Chandan, Secret Superstar was released worldwide on October 19, 2017.
