Sanjay Dutt is back with a bang with the Hindi remake of the Telugu blockbuster, Prasthaanam. The film, which is being produced by Sanjay’s production house, stars the Munnabhai actor with Ali Fazal, who plays his son, along with Manisha Koirala and Amyra Dastur in pivotal roles. The cast is currently shooting for the film in Lucknow, which is being directed by the original film’s director, Deva Katta.

Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt’s biopic, Sanju, directed by Rajkumar Hirani with Ranbir Kapoor playing the titular character released to insane anticipation on Friday. The entire industry has been abuzz since the trailer launch and waiting with bated breath to watch their Sanju Baba’s story on celluloid.
Dutt, who has been supremely excited about the film, has company in the form of his reel life son Ali who is equally enthused about the release of the film. Not only is the Victoria and Abdul actor looking forward to seeing the film but the entire cast and crew of Prasthaanam want to watch the film in the first week itself.

Seeing the curiosity amongst his co-actors especially Ali who considers Sanjay his role model, Sanjay decided to hold a special screening of Sanju for the cast and crew of Prasthaanam in Lucknow.
