Salman Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali are reuniting after two decades with their much awaited project Inshallah which also features Alia Bhatt as the female lead.
Earlier, Inshallah was supposed to release on Eid 2020, however, now the actor has announced a shift in the film’s release.
Salman took to his official Twitter handle to announce that the the film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been pushed, but the Dabangg fame actor will still entertain audiences on Eid with another film.
He wrote, “The film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali is pushed but I will still see you all on Eid, 2020. Insha-Allah!!”
Inshallah is also Alia’s first film with the filmmaker and with Salman.
Salman had first worked together with Padmaavat director for his debut directorial Khamoshi: The Musical. The iconic pair then went on to work in, a now cult favourite, Hume Dil De Chuke Sanam which also starred Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
Salman also did a brief guest appearance in Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor starrer Saawariya.
Music of Inshallah will be composed by Sanjay himself. His last release Padmaavat, was mired in controversy but won many accolades for the director.
On the other hand, Salman will next be seen in Prabhu Dheva’s Dabangg 3 while Alia will appear alongside Ranbir Kapoor in Ayan Mukerji’s ambitious project Brahmastra.
