Ever since the release of Padmavati‘s trailer, the movie has become one of the most anticipated films of the year with everyone looking forward to the epic historical drama.

The trailer of the film has been appreciated by fans and critics have hailed the film as India’s best film to step foot in cinema.

But who grabbed the most eyeballs from the first look and trailers?

Actor Ranveer Singh, who will essay the role of tyrant emperor Alauddin Khilji, has become the talk of the town for his raw look and menacing glance with a sinister smile on his face.

The actor recently shared another poster of the film featuring him sitting atop a throne that surely depicts the larger than life aura of the emperor.

Undoubtedly Ranveer has stolen all the limelight for the talented powerhouse that he is, and in the latest poster it is quite evident that he will leave no stone unturned to do justice to his character. It can be seen that Ranveer aka Khilji is sitting on his comfortable throne with a smirk on his face.

This will be the first time that the actor will essay the role of an antagonist in a film.

Ranveer is known for high energy and getting into the skin of the character.

It will be interesting to see the Gunday actor in a never seen before avatar after his performances in films like Goliyuon ki Rasleela Ram-Leela and Bajirao Mastani.

The films also stars Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor in titular roles.

Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film is slated to release on December 1.
