Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor are all set to dazzle the silver screen with their upcoming collaboration, tentatively titled ‘RC16’. The duo marked the commencement of shooting with a traditional Pooja ceremony, attended by industry stalwarts and family members alike.

In a heartwarming display of camaraderie, Ram Charan’s wife Upasana Kamineni Konidela, and his father, the iconic Chiranjeevi, graced the event alongside Janhvi’s father, the esteemed Boney Kapoor. The atmosphere was charged with excitement as AR Rahman, the maestro behind the film’s music, lent his presence to the auspicious occasion.

Pictures and videos from the ceremony quickly made waves across social media platforms, showcasing the cast bedecked in resplendent ethnic attire. Janhvi, portraying the film’s female lead, radiated elegance in a captivating green saree, setting the tone for what promises to be a visually stunning venture.

The proceedings began with a customary puja, with veteran producer Allu Aravind presenting the bound script to director Buchi Babu Sana. Adding to the auspiciousness, acclaimed director Shankar, known for his magnum opus ‘Game Changer’ starring Ram Charan, initiated the first shot of the film, flanked by the lighting of the camera by Boney Kapoor and Anmol Sharma, and the clapboard by the illustrious Chiranjeevi.

Expressing his gratitude, director Buchi Babu Sana extended a warm welcome to the esteemed guests, with a special mention of Mega Star Chiranjeevi. Reflecting on his journey from assistant director on ‘Rangasthalam’ to helming this project, he vowed to make the most of this incredible opportunity.

Producer Boney Kapoor expressed his eagerness to delve further into Telugu cinema and commended Buchi Babu’s fervor, hinting at a potential Hindi remake of ‘Uppena’.
