‘Raid’ surpasses ‘PadMan’ to become third highest grosser of 2018

Ajay Devgn-starrer crime drama Raid has been running successfully in the cinema for a week. After earning quite well in the opening week, Raid has now crossed the Rs. 80-crore mark. The Raj Kumar Gupta directorial has surpassed Akshay Kumar-starrer PadMan‘s record at the Box office.

The film earned Rs 2.42 this Monday and reached Rs. 81.95 crore in 11 days. The is now inching toward the Rs 100-crore club.

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh announced the total collection of the film on Twitter.

Raid, a film based on one man’s stand against corruption, opened to strong reviews and positive word of mouth from fans and critics alike, which has provided the film with good numbers at the ticket counter.

The film features Ajay Devgn in the lead role and also has Ileana D’Cruz and Saurabh Shukla in pivotal roles.

Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, Raid was released worldwide on March 16.
