Ajay Devgn’s latest film Raid is now eying for the Rs 100-crore mark and in doing so will become the third Bollywood film to enter the elite club in 2018.
Raid opened to positive response at the box office mainly because of the strong word of mouth for the performances of the lead actors.
Raid is already the third highest grossing Bollywood film of 2018 so far, but the question remains if it can cross the Rs 100-crore mark in the coming week?
According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Raid earned Rs 3.13-crore on Thursday, taking the total collections of the film to Rs 90.11-crore.

The film’s weekly breakdown is also impressive as Devgn’s fight against corruption was steady at the box office in its two-week run.
Week 1: 63.05-crore
Week 2: 27.06-crore
Now the third weekend is crucial for the film as it will determine the lifetime business of the film and from the looks of the steady performance, the film just might cross the Rs 100-crore mark in the third week. The film needs another Rs 10-crore to make its way to the elite club.
Things have become even more interesting as Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi 2 released today and it is hailed as one of the most anticipated films of 2018.
Let’s see how the newly released film will affect the business of Raid, which is just some distance away from entering the Rs 100-crore mark. As of now, Raid is the third highest grossing film of 2018 behind Padmaavat and SKTKS.
If the film manages to cross the Rs 100-crore mark, then it will be Devgn’s seventh Rs 100-crore film.
Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, Raid was released worldwide on March 16.
