Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra and American singer Nick Jonas tied the knot on Sunday (December 2) as per Hindu rituals at Umaid Bhawan in Jodhpur.

According to reports, the Quantico actress became emotional during her jaimala ceremony.

“One of the guests at the wedding cheered the bride and groom as they came face-to-face at the mandap. Priyanka teared up during the jaimala session,” said a PinkVilla report.

On December 1, the couple said ‘I do’ in a Christian wedding officiated by American singer Nick’s father Paul Kevis Jonas Sr.

One of the most special things that our relationship has given us is a merging of families who love and respect each other’s faiths and cultures. And so planning our wedding with an amalgamation of both was so so amazing. An important part of the pre wedding rituals for the girl in an Indian wedding is the Mehendi. It all began as a fierce song & dance competition between the families but ended, as always, as a huge celebration of love.  Nick and I were looking forward to the Sangeet (musical evening), another pre wedding ritual.. and to see what each side had put together. The couple will soon fly down to Mumbai for their reception which will take place at The Grand Hyatt.
