Vicky Kaushal starrer URI: The Surgical Strike has garnered immense appreciation and love from the audience and the entire Hindi film industry. The film based is on the 2016 surgical strikes carried out by the Indian Army across the PoK (Pakistan occupied Kashmir).
Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who met the lead actor of the film Vicky Kaushal, has given thumbs up to the Aditya Dhar’s directorial.
It’s a rare occasion when in movies one gets to see the feats of the Indian Army with such intricate details of a particular operation.
Dhar was overwhelmed with the over buzzing response to the film and now none other than the Prime Mister himself has reacted to his efforts.
“It’s an overwhelming and proud feeling to know that the man Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi who led the entire mission – one of the most important events in the history of Indian Army, has seen the movie. He has appreciated the way turn of events have been depicted and showcased well on celluloid right from the terror attacks on our Army camps in URI to Indian Army’s Surgical Strike in POK. It’s a huge honour for me and everyone involved in the film to get this response from our prime minister,” he said.
Meanwhile, Vicky Kaushal played a perfect Indian Special Force commando to his B-Town friends too as they were seen joining in the ‘josh’ with the URI star. Bollywood celebs like Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Rajkummar Rao, Ayushmann Khurrana, Ekta Kapoor, Siddharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan, Bhumi Pednekar, and Rohit Shetty were seen giving major shout out goals for Vicky Kaushal starrer URI.
