Jai Shri Ram, a new bhajan by singer Palak Muchhal, was launched to commemorate the opening of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. On social media, the song has become very popular.
Prior to today’s scheduled inauguration of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Muchhal published the song.
“Everyone is currently expressing their bhakti in their own unique way. This is the finest way I can express my feelings as a vocalist,” Muchhal remarked.
The 31-year-old musician composed the bhajan, which she used to perform as a prayer with her grandfather. “Instead of saying good morning, we say Ram Ram in my family. I’ve had to deal with it since I was a young child.
Any kind of art, in my opinion, is an expression of devotion,” she remarked.
Muchhal expressed happiness that the next generation is feeling a connection to Jai Shri Ram. “I’ve tried to incorporate small things that the younger viewers can relate to,” she said.
The vocalist of Udd Jaa Kaale Kaava explained why she declined to have the song released by a record label or motion picture.
She referred to it as her aahooti (offering) in the yagna and stated that she wished to keep everything “personal.”
