The first song from Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Athiya Shetty starrer Motichoor Chaknachoor is out. Titled “Crazy Lagdi”, the song has been sung by Swaroop Khan.
Featuring the lead pair of the film, the song works like a wooing song, where Nawaz is seen doing everything in his power to impress, by also following her everywhere. After the quirky trailer of Motichoor Chaknachoor left audiences wanting for more, this song offers another glimpse into the film that promises to be a complete entertainer.
The unusual pairing of the lead pair offers a comic blend to the song and the film as a whole.
Nawazuddin will be seen playing the character of an aging bachelor who is desperate to marry a girl. He tries everything to woo his neighbour, Athiya Shetty, into marriage.
The music of “Crazy Lagdi” has been composed by Amjad Nadeem Aamir and the lyrics have been penned by Kumaar.
Makers also shared a new look poster of the film.
Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the film’s poster on social media. In the poster Nawaz is seen in a sherwani and Athiya is seen an all-over yellow suit, with a suitcase and passport in hand.
This is the first time that Nawazuddin and Athiya will be seen together in a romantic pairing.
Directed by Debamitra Biswal and produced by Rajesh Bhatia and Kiran Bhatia, Motichoor Chakhnachoor is slated to release on 15 November 2019.
