Addressing the ongoing #MeToo movement in the Hindi film industry, popular television actress Ankita Lokhande questioned free will of women.
The Pavitra Rishta star took to Twitter on Sunday and shared her views on sexual harassment.
“The past few days have been any lesson to all of us who are a part of this industry, it is that just because you close your eyes and shut your ears… the truth does not get altered,” the actress wrote in her tweet.
Addressing all men Anikta aimed to convey that forcing a woman proves how weak they are.
“For all men reading this – I know not all of you are like this. But some of you do feel like you can touch a woman, feel her up and do whatever you want without her consent because you are a man. Well, think again sir because you are constantly proving how weak you are by this act. If she says NO… it still means NO!” her follow up tweet read.
“While we all live in a free world… Each day, every day there is a woman somewhere in this world forced against her will. Does it really feel like a free world?” she added.
