A video featuring late actor Inder Kumar, showing him talk about his failed career, recently went viral. The Wanted actor died on 28 July 2017, reportedly after suffering a massive heart attack. However, this video on social media sparked a theory that the cause of death could be suicide.
At a press conference on Tuesday, Inder Kumar’s wife Pallavi Saraf cleared the air and said the video was related to a film scene that the actor was prepping for before his demise. “It is not a real video. It is actually a scene from a film called ‘Phatti Padi Hai Yaar’ for which he had shot a year-and-a-half ago. It is sad that people are confusing the film scene with his real life,” Pallavi said in her statement.

Pallavi talked about Inder and said he was a strong person who never gave up in difficult times. “During that phase, he was highly disturbed. There were, of course, days when he broke down. He was concerned that his name was dragged into this but he never gave up,” she added.
Denying the incident as a publicity stunt, Saraf said the production team had no idea how the video got out. She went on to say, “We would never do that. His death certificate mentions heart attack, so why would we try to release a video which says otherwise? This is purely by accident.”
In the viral video, Inder Kumar is seen talking about his bad habits that ruined his life. He also said he came to Mumbai to become an actor but ended up making a lot of mistakes. Towards the end of the video, he can be seen apologising to his parents.
