It was a historic weekend in India for Avengers – Endgame as the Marvel film collected more that Rs 157 crore nett, going past any Hindi film’s three-day earning.  The last three-day record stands at Rs 119 crore nett, set by Sanju in 2018. Avengers Endgame collections also set a new three-day record in Delhi/ UP, garnering approximately Rs 27 crore NETT.

Endgame’s Sunday collections went back to the first day level. The three-day figures are however still only behind Bahubali – The Conclusion, according to Box Office India.

Endgame has collected 67% more than the previous Avengers film, Infinity War, which did Rs 94 crore NETT in its first weekend, which was at that time a record for any Hollywood film.

The film’s Monday collection will take a hit in Mumbai where many cinemas opened late due to the elections.

In Delhi / UP,  Endgame collected Rs 27 crore NETT, beating even Bahubali – The Conclusion. At Rs 23.15 crore, Sanju had the best NETT collections before this. The GROSS collections are still the highest for Bahubali – The Conclusion (Rs 34.63 crore), and that record is likely to stay as Endgame will collect around Rs 31.25 crore.

A reason behind Avengers Endgame lagging behind other films in GROSS collections is because it released on very few cinemas in UP.
