Amazon Prime Video’s next documentary will chronicle the life of incoming US First Lady, Melania Trump. The streaming giant has secured exclusive global rights to a documentary film offering an “unprecedented behind-the-scenes look” of Melania’s life. She will also serve as an executive producer on the Prime Video project, which will release later this year. Meanwhile, Amazon Prime has offered only a few details about the project but said it was looking forward to sharing the story. Donald Trump and Melania Trump are yet to comment on the project.

The filming of the slated documentary film started in December 2024. The incoming First Lady serves as the executive producer alongside Fernando Sulichin of New Element Media. RatPac Entertainment’s Brett Ratner is working at the helm. The documentary will give viewers a glimpse into Melania Trump’s personal and professional life. It is set to release theatrically and will be streamed worldwide.

The upcoming project comes after she released her book titled ‘Melania.’ The memoir is a collection of her stories and family photos which have never been made public. Notably, her book has maintained the top position on the New York Times’ best-selling list since its release. Subsequently in November, just after the elections, Melania unveiled a digital photography series featuring her life on the 2024 campaign and at home.

Last year, she talked about her book with Fox News Digital. “Writing my memoir has been an amazing journey filled with emotional highs and lows. Each story shaped me into who I am today.” She added that “although daunting at times, the process has been incredibly rewarding, reminding me of my strength, and the beauty of sharing my truth.”
