Hina Khan slaps legal notice on jewellery brand, demands apology

Television actress and Bigg Boss 11 contestant Hina Khan is currently in a mixed emotional state of mind. While she is happy on one hand with the response to her debut music video Bhasoodi, on the other, the actress is upset with legal issues involving a jewellery company.

Hina was accused of not returning to the brand the jewellery she wore at Dada Saheb Phalke Awards. She was also served a notice by the jeweller, claiming that she had not returned jewellery worth Rs 11 lakh.

Hina has now slapped a legal notice on the brand and has shared an image of the same on her social media handles. She captioned the note, “Since it started in public forum, I m forced to share my response too but the right way.”

In the notice issued by the jewellerry brand, Hina had been asked to return the items and pay Rs 2 lakh towards compensation for loss of business and harassment, and tender a written apology.

A few days ago, Hina’s stylist Hemlata released an official statement regarding the matter and said Hina had rejected the jewellery and hence the stylist’s assistant took it from her and lost it before they were returned. She concluded saying Hina had nothing to do with this matter at all.
