Hema Malini bids farewell to Sridevi in series of tweets

Veteran actor Hema Malini tweeted a series of tweets in remembrance of late actor Sridevi, who passed away on February 24 in Dubai, UAE.

Hema took to her twitter account to express her grieve as her dear friend passed away in a tragic sudden death in Dubai.

The Dream Girl of Bollywood also expressed her concern over Sridevi’s daughters and in another tweet.

Hema also asked everyone to give the Kapoor family some space after their huge loss and requested everyone to leave the family alone now.

The actor also attended Sridevi’s funeral on February 28 in Mumbai and paid her last respects to Sridevi.

In her last two tweets, Hema bid a final goodbye to the first female superstar of Bollywood in the best way possible by remembering her for a final time by reminiscing about Sridevi’s contribution to the Hindi film industry.

Sridevi passed away at the age of 54 in Dubai. The actor was attending her nephew’s marriage there. Sridevi accidentally drowned in the bathtub of her bathroom and was discovered by her husband, Boney Kapoor.

Considered as one of the most popular actors of all time, the actor has appeared in 300 films and is known for her films like Chandni, Mr India, Lamhe, Khuda Gawah, Nagina, Sadma, Karma, English Vinglish and Mom.

Sridevi is survived by her husband and two daughters, Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor.
