Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar has opened up about her maternal aunt Daisy Irani’s child abuse case at the age of 6.
The actor took to Twitter and shared his feelings on this tragic incident. Though Farhan is heartbroken by reading about the sexual assault, he says he is proud of Daisy Irani. On 23 March, he wrote in his tweet, “Heartbroken upon reading this article but proud that my aunt #DaisyIrani spoke up. It’s tragic to see parents push their kids to the breaking point in order to achieve success vicariously through them. This should serve as a wake-up call for the film & TV industry. Be aware. Be warned.”
