Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has done it all in a career spanning almost five decades, but that has not stopped the 75-year-old from experimenting with his potential as an actor.
Recently, Big B did an advertisement for an Ayurvedic oil and the ad has been noticed by his granddaughter Aaradhya who finds it funny and is pleased to see her grandfather is a different avatar.
Bachchan’s recent post on his blog showcases the conversations between the granddaughter and the grandfather, where she told him that she loved the advertisement, and the latter explained her the meaning of a-capella.
Amitabh wrote: “Oh, the a-capella,” alongside the attached photo of his granddaughter.
Bachchan also said that the word a-capella might come in the future during some other conversation and called the young generation ‘little miracles’.
“I am certain that the word ‘a-capella’ shall appear suddenly, days later, during some other conversation with the little one,” .. and be surprised .. well not really .. this generation has stopped surprising us .. they are little miracles .. !!” Bachchan added.
You may be wondering what is a-capella and what is the word got to do with Big B.
Well, a-capella or acapella is a kind of music that is specifically group or solo singing without instrumental accompaniment, or a piece intended to be performed in this way.
Big B’s latest advertisement for the Ayurvedic oil features the actor doing a-capella, giving music to the ad without any instruments but from the sound of some movement in specific body parts.
